iFilm to unveil ‘The Color of Suspicion’ on Monday

iFilm’s mini-series ‘The Color of Suspicion’ has been scheduled to go on air from Monday.

Written and directed by Fariborz Arabnia, the series tells the story of a young, resilient and smart police officer, Ali, who’s secretly assigned to penetrate a drug cartel as an undercover agent to bust their network.

Ali warns his superiors that drugs are only a cover used by Amjad, the network leader, who’s working for a larger unknown organization determined to sabotage the Iranian police and security data systems.

The mission turns into a one-on-one battle between Ali and Amjad, as the latter takes steps to threaten Ali’s family in an effort to scare the officer away from his mission.

The cast list includes Fariborz Arabnia, Ammar Tafti, Arash Majidi, Shahrzad Kamalzadeh and Shahrokh Foroutanian.

‘The Color of Suspicion’, to be aired every day at 18:00 GMT, is temporarily replacing ‘Medical Building’ during the mourning days of Muharram. Each episode of the mini-series will be repeated the next day at 00:00, 09:00, and 15:00.
